From the Bronx:

    • Take the R, M, B, Q or R train to Dekalb Avenue.
    • Take the #2, 3, or 4 train to Nevins street
    • Take the F train to 4th Avenue transfer to the R train. Exit R train at Dekalb Avenue Station in Brooklyn.
    • Take the J or L train to the Eastern Parkway station transfer to C train. Take C train to Lafayette Avenue station.
    • Take the J or L train to the Eastern Parkway station transfer to A or C.
    • Take A or C to Hoyt-Schermerhorn and transfer to Queens-bound G train , Exit G train at Fulton Street station in Brooklyn.

From Queens:
    • Take G train to Fulton Street in Brooklyn.
    • Take #7 train to Grand Central Station transfer to #4 or 5.Take #4 or 5 train to Nevins Street station in Brooklyn.
    • Take the E, F, or N to Queens Plaza transfer to G train. Take G train to Fulton Street.
    • Take R to Dekalb Ave station in Brooklyn.

For LIRR Transit:

You need to take whatever combination of branches is necessary to get from where you are to Flatbush Avenue Station (given that people can come from all over Long Island it is impossible to precisely say what combination of lines will work for you).

You can:

Take the R, M, B, or Q train to Dekalb Avenue station heading uptown.
From Dekalb Avenue Station walk East on Dekalb avenue walk 5 blocks and make a right on to Fort Greene Pl.

Take the #2, 3, or 4 train to Nevins street station heading uptown.
From Nevins Street station walk East on Fulton Street for 5 blocks and make a left on to Fort Green Pl.
